first off...we had snow!!! :) ok, ok...it was only off and on for 20 mins. or so, but still!!! it snowed!! in texas!!! in december!!! *L* ms. jan, our neighbor across the street, called me at 10pm to let me know...so i ran out w/camera in hand and this is what i got...btw, no i did not wake the kid to see it *L*

christmas party

so today we had our squadron christmas party at salado tree farms (same place we had it last year)...this year punky was able to join the kids in the play hay area and he hada blast...we also got to see santa =) and airen did very well, he didn't throw a fit at all, was just curious about santa's beard *L* we hada fun day ;) til next time...take care and much love!!! ok, so tonight i started a lil bit earlier so i could post videos...*L* as you see i got three posted, probably used all my "media space", was able to fold 2 loads of laundry and wash 2...*L* so that means i have another load in the dryer to fold...*LOL* (if you were following...i still had an unfolded basket before i started *L*) ANYWAY!!! i'm gonna go fold that load and get to bed, enjoy the vids...until next time, take care and much love!!! so this year for thanksgiving we went to gma and gpa G's and had the "oh so non traditional" prime rib!! *LOL* we also had brussel sprouts, which i did let airen try...and just like his momma...he did NOT like them!! *L*

after that we went to kurt and misti's for some poker =) (i didn't win...*L*) and they had the "traditionals" so yes, we had some turkey too...it was pretty much just another day, but we had great family and friends to share it with :) until next time, take care and much love! XOXOXO

Our trip to MS

this is probably gonna be a quick blog, cause i still have sleep i need to catch up on *LOL* here are some pics of our trip to mississippi (yes i spelled that outloud as i typed it *L*)

all joe wanted was a "goat picture" *L* this was out at mr. robert's (robbie's dad) goat "farm"...robbie caught the baby goat and we took advantage of the photo op. ;) i also added a video, you can hear the goat "cryin' for it's momma" *L* airen didn't know what to think, but i'm sure he enjoyed it!

southern cookin'...mmm, mmm!!! *L* my two food requests for the visit were biscuits and tomato gravy for breakfast, and fried porkchops and creamy taters for supper... "momma carrie" didn't let me down ;) you can see punky enjoyed it as well





these pics are of carrie's horse's...shotgun is a miniture so we were able to have him stay still long enough to get a pic of airen on him...the other two LB (the colt) and Sweetpea (the momma) kept "neighin" and punky got so tickled..*L* it was a cute experience...he also got to feed them some apple wafers ;)

*L* couldn't think of anything else to "title" it...

as some of ya'll may have known, punky and i spent the last couple days in MS visitin' our friends carrie and robbie (they were our neighbors in AL)...anyway, it was a long ride, with a couple detours but punky did GREAT!!! i will totally brag on his traveling "skills" *LOL* i'll get some pics up tonight...

we got home about 2245 last night, and today i've been busy unpackin' and cleanin' ~sigh~ *L* lil man is nappin' now so i figured i'd letcha know ;) hope all is well!!! take care and mucho love XOXOXO

punky's new carseat!! he's a big boy now...(sshhh..he's still under 20lbs. *LOL*) TX law says they must be 1 year and 20lbs...but he's only ounces away and see..he' loves it!!



weather here is still pretty nice...mid 70's and sunny...so we take advantage of the sunshine, here he is enjoyin' justa swingin'... =)




so he use to have this pic of joe in his pack and play, but since he's now sleepin' in his crib, i've moved it to the fridge, and now he takes it down and gives dada kisses ;)

WOOHOO...it finally let me post a video, *L* this is a bouncy spiny zebra thingy *L* that he got from ms. leigh for his birthday...as you see, i do let my child watch t.v. he loves "noggin" and how bad can it be...i mean their "motto" is "preschool on t.v." =) anyway, pinky dinky doo is probably his fav. show...he likes "goin' to the story box"...enough! *LOL* XOXOXO

What's goin' on..

with joe =) ok so update on joe; they got moved to Al Kut where he will remain until he comes home...ETA is approximently Jan. 20th (ish)...hopefully ya'll recieved the email with the new address and the cutoff dates for shippin' stuff, he did ask that you please don't "overload" him with packages seein' how 1-they won't be there much longer and 2-he's still sharing a room so there's not much space...here are a couple pics from his time over there...XOXOXO

so...for airen's first birthday party i wanted to keep it simple...i mean he's only one *LOL* so i figured it as just a big playdate...had "centers" set up inside and outside and we just had fun!! and some cake and ice cream ;) here are a couple pics...
