so on monday the oct. 26th, after a week and half of coughin' and runny nose; we decided to take airen to the ER...initially we had gone to see a nurse practitioner on the 21st and since he wasn't runnin' a fever, he was just diagnosed with the common cold...on that monday he started runnin' a fever...while at the ER they tested him for the flu (which came back negative) and finally decided to do a chest x-ray that came back with pneumonia...he was such a trooper the whole time!!! from getting blood drawn, to the x-rays, even the IV!! of course he cried and fussed, but was very happy to see the popsicle that the (fantastic) nurse brought him! =) antibiotics, motrin & tylenol, and LOTS of TLC...and he's back to his rambunctious self!! =)
punky and daddy : at the beginning of the visitwe were there for about 4 hours so he was hungry and wanted his crackers
if you asked him to show you his "owie" he'd hold up his arm and give big puppy dog eyes...*L* too cute!!
our fantastic nurse who took such great care of himgetting lots of lovin' from mommy and daddy!!!
